ROADSAFE HEAVY DUTY TOW POINTS W/ BRIDLE & SHACKLES

Decent recovery points should be mandatory on all 4WDs. There’s a reason every 4WD club in Australia will specify that before even commencing driver training, the vehicle must have quality recovery points fitted.
From the factory, most vehicles have towing and tie down points fitted to the chassis, and a common misconception is that these are safe for recovery. In fact, the factory fitted tow points are for strapping down a vehicle on a ship or tow truck only, and have been known to shear off when used as recovery points with potentially fatal consequences.
All Roadsafe tow points are designed as vehicle specific kits that include all mounting hardware. They’re FEA tested and rated accordingly, ensuring that you and any spectators are safe during recovery operations.

2 x Roadsafe Heavy Duty Tow Points (5,000kg)
2 x Roadsafe Bow Shackles (4,750kg)
1 x Roadsafe 2.5m Equaliser Strap (6,000kg)
Note:
Tow points have been designed for vehicles without bull bars. In some circumstances, the bull bar mounting bolts/brackets utilise the same chassis holes that are utilised for tow point fitment. Most of the time there’s a fix around this, but in some instances this prevents fitment of tow points without major modifications.
