Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS): 13,000kg
It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap/rope should be between 2 and 3 times the vehicle’s gross vehicle mass (GVM). This information is usually specified by the vehicle’s manufacturer on a plate affixed to the vehicle, or as per an assessment by road authorities in absence of a plate.
